Was just thinking, I wonder if anyone knows if there is a place you can download blank outline drawings of particular models of trucks. That way you could print a drawing with no color, make copies, and experiment with drawing your own graphics, paint colors, striping, etc.

Take a pic of your truck, enlarge it to 8 x 11', overlay tracing paper, trace it out in dark black ink than just print all you need on your printer.

If you are good with Photoshop, you can take a photo of your truck, create a path and change the color at will. Adding stripes will require more paths.

Sometimes you can fine outlines that are close at image sites like istockphoto.com or shutterstock.com.

Good luck.

I did a line drawing of my truck using Autocad. Just imported the picture and digitally traced it.

This site has copies of the manuals for just about everything.

Find the manual for your truck. They have dimensioned drawings that you can print and then experiment with. I've done it for my '57.
