Im waiting for the rebuild kit for my Rochester B1 carburetor. I'm not getting any fuel into the float bowl and i dont know why... Any ideas??

i know im going to have a couple people tell me to just get rid of the Rochester and get a carter or weber but i just want to get it started with what i have

Starting with the tank, gunked-up fuel screen, plugged line to pump, broken pump (or worse, worn pump lobe on camshaft, replace with electric pump), clogged filter...
Inside the carb, stuck float or stuck float needle, REALLY badly adjusted float.
Since you are waiting for the kit, you could open it and see how the float is sitting and whether the float needle is stuck. If you remove the bowl top and hold it upside down, the float should sit about level (no, not the proper precision measurement, but it'll give you an idea). With the top right-side-up, the float should drop to an angle that wouldn't bottom out in the bowl. The float needle should follow the float tang that holds it.
As for the other parts, with the fuel line off the carb and a bowl under the open line, have someone crank the engine and see if fuel comes out. Work back towards the tank, one joint at a time to find any blockages.

Oh, and speaking from experience, make sure the valve on the bottom of the tank (under the cab) is open. It's annoying to troubleshoot the whole system only to remember you closed this valve months ago to do something else...

Highflyer, thanks for all the info, but just infront of the carb, (for the fuel line) there is a glass bowl that fills with fuel, and it is full. also, the valve on the underside is open...
Are there any screens inside the carb that might be plugged?

Do you have any pics of your B. If someone put on a 60's carb then yes there is a screen in the carb. Also Do check the pressure at the line to pump. But it could be a stuck valve in the carb. To a rebuild on it. Lots of videos on rebuilding one I can get you. Rochesters always need a rebuild after sitting.

I'll get some pics as soon as i can, i was advised to submerge the carb for a couple days in diesel fuel to get rid of the white residue

I rebuilt my carb today, i would've gotten pictures but i still cant find my camera after last weekend... Anyways i think i found out why there was no fuel in the float bowl, i had a stuck chuck ball in the main tube that leads to the bowl. so ive completely replaced everything on the inside of the carb... just waiting to see if i can find a new 1" gapper that goes in-between the bottom of the carb and the intake manifold, mine cracked in half

crazy glue fixed my small problem for now atleast. still didnt start but i think thats only because my battery died..
