The rear end is from a 72 Coupe de Ville and has 5 on 4 3/4 bolt circle. Anyone know what hub (disc) will fit the Camaro spindles that has a 5 on 4 3/4 bolt circle? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,228 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 5,228 | The year of the clip, all Camero's from '67-'70 have 5 on 4 3/4" bolt patterns. You sure the Caddy didn't have a 5 on 5", most big cars did back then. If thats the case, you might find a big GM that will fit a Camero spindle, but it will take some digging.
Check out some of the brake venders web sites, they may be of some help.

My clip is from a mid 70's monte carlo, which also has a 5 on 4-3/4 pattern, and I found that a late 70's olds complete spindle and rotor assembly will bolt directly to the Monte ball joints. A simple swap. I got big brakes, and 5 on 5 bolt pattern. I don't know if it would fit to your Camaro suspension, but might be worth checking. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 150 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 150 | Thanks, I'll probably try to source some 5 on 5 hubs from a larger GM car if I don't use the Camaro rear end. Should have snagged the hubs from the de Ville when I had the chance! I'm leaning seriously toward keeping the Cad rear end because it has a very high gear ratio (about 3.09? IIRC) and this will be a cruiser, not a drag racer. | | |
