The engine comes from my Dad's home town. There are a few wiring issues to deal with and some equipment to add, but overall, it just needs a bath to be parade ready. It will eventually get paint and LOTS of chrome polish and be fire ready.

THAT is a fine looking truck! We have a similar-vintage Chevy/American LaFrance pumper that doesn't look nearly as neat. The white is striking. I own two Towers trucks, both with the signature "Soda Fountain Pump Panel" - I'm a big fan. Good buddy of mine sells for Towers, I've learned a lot about them.
Where's the Peach Orchard VFD, anyway?

I would love to see pics of your Towers trucks. Not many in this area at all. Never did find pics of other vintage trucks while searching.
