I understand that the GM pump puts out more pressure than the M/2 rack and pinion needs therefore the flow has to be modified between the two...
From what I have gathered so far, there are two ways to make this happen (if in fact you own a M/2 R/P and a GM pump already)
What I'd like to see or hear is what others have done to correct this issue, and is either one a "better Solution"
I will paste the parts that I have found so far for review and comment..
Scenario 1
Power steering pump valve threaded into the back of the pump. This alters the flow rate from 3GPM to 2 GPM

In your opinion does this solve the problem, and are you satisfied with the end results?
Scenario 2
requires the purchase of a separate flow valve, and the associated hosing and fittings....I would assume that the major payoff here for the added expense would be the ability to "dial in" the preferred steering for the truck

Opine at will....
