I've got a 1961 3/4 ton rearend was wondering if anyone has any info, specs, where these posi or limited slip, gear ratios, any info would be helpful. thanks aaron

Pulled the back cover off its a 10 bolt haven't found anything but one set of numbers thats eligible first 3 digits are 388 does this mean anything?

That 388 is prolly just a part #, usually near this they stamped the # of teeth, but not always. If there is anything there except side gears & spider gears(like springs/plates), it is a posi/limited slip/locker whathaveyou. If nothing stamped, count the ring gear & pinion teeth to determine the ratio. Should be an Eaton, prolly 4.56. Brian
