Has anyone tried ordering somewhat matching color seat covers, door panels and headliner from americanclassic.com? I'm getting ready to order for my '53 3100 and wanted to support our sponsor. I'm looking to get brown, their door panels and headliner states brown or medium brown but their seat covers show dark saddle and palomino but no medium brown. Any advice is appreciated.

I went ahead and placed my order anyway...I think the dark saddle seat covers will be close to the brown panel colors.

as an FYI, when I asked the guy if they give a stovebolt.com member discount I was told they no longer do that, but since my order was large enough he took off 10% anyway.

..... thanks for letting us know that. I see where John Milliman also mentioned it in another post. Honestly I never knew they gave a Stovebolt discount and I've bought some parts from them since mid 90's

Does anyone know if JimCarter has quite doing it??? I suppose Classic Parrts still does? ...if not there are lots of others out there and if we patronized them maybe they would give us a discount?

...and always though,remember,American Classic is the one that gave us space for the sever! IF, and I say IF, the others, J/carter and C/Parts quite giving discounts then American Classic keeps looking better and better anyway!!

Will do Dennis. They were having the seat covers dropped shipped and said they would take a couple of weeks to arrive.

I only buy from America Classic when I have a small $$ order or need something no one else sells. The reason is, they are a Texas company and charge Texas tax to any order shipped in Texas. That 8.25% can mount up in a large order. Also, orders shiped from Denton on UPS get here no faster than orders shipped from Kansas.

If Allans looks good - I will order the same stuff, through him, and save money (10% discount and no 8.25 sales tax).

I got the door panels and headliner in. I ordered the Spanish grain style, medium brown door panels and the cardboard, brown, two piece type headliner. The colors are not very close at all, the door panels are much lighter than the headliner. I'm not that concerned yet, hoping the seat covers will more match the door panels than the headliner...or my wife may make me send them back...
