Not having ever swapped out the 292 for a small block, I'm wondering how many parts will need to be changed, other than the obvious things like the exhaust system.

It will slide thru the frame and you bolt the outside to the frame and weld the two ends. The rear mount will be bell housing or mount to rear of the automatic transmission.
I have two 292 Chevy 6 motors I would like to sell. They are all apart so you can see what your getting. I live in sol calif. Handtight
