Is a 35 1/2 t truck short bed the same diminsions as a 46 1/2 t short bed? lug

No it is not.
The 34-36 Chevy Short Step has overall width of box at 45 3/4" and the length of the bed wood inside the bed is 70 7/8". It has 6 boards and 5 bed strips in the floor.
The 46 Chevy Short Step 48 1/2" wide and the length of the bed wood inside the bed is 76 7/8". It has 7 boards and 6 bed strips in the floor.
