Replaced old gas tank with a used tank which I am concerned about it may have rust. I have 2 filters now. How would a sediment bowl work for a while untill I have used the truck some? I have a new sediment bowl for a small tractor and can adapt-- I hope.

I have just had the carb reworked for big bucks so is it worth it or is a new tank the way to go??? Thanks, tom

I don't think 3 filters would be better than 2 wink just keep an eye on the filters and see if [and how fast] they start pluggin up .... a new tank is only 'worth it' if you need one

I agree with Bill.
The filters should catch any debris and keep your carburator safe. If they stop up because of too much "stuff", no gas to the carb= no running truck= replace the filters.
