For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 32 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 32 | Replaced old gas tank with a used tank which I am concerned about it may have rust. I have 2 filters now. How would a sediment bowl work for a while untill I have used the truck some? I have a new sediment bowl for a small tractor and can adapt-- I hope.
I have just had the carb reworked for big bucks so is it worth it or is a new tank the way to go??? The filters should catch any debris and keep your carburator safe. If they stop up because of too much "stuff", no gas to the carb= no running truck= replace the filters.
