Body mounts and drive train mounts the same? I have a cab and front fenders from a '54 1-ton truck I'd like to adapt to a 1/2 ton frame. Should I be looking for a '54 1/2 ton frame? Or will an earlier frame work? It's the beds that are different. The 19475/3 frames are different from the 1954/55 frames, there is no arch above the rear-end on the 54/55, it's virtually flat. However you could easily swap bellhousings to put your Stovebolt in either early or late frame.

The earlier cab mounted in the center on the earlier and changed to the two side attachments either in 49 or 50
