I'm looking at buying a set of the optional half-leaf overload springs for my '66 C-10. The person I'm buying them from has a full set, the upper brackets and springs are off of a C-10, but the lower brackets are off of a C-20.

Will this cause a fitment problem with my control arms and u-bolts being half-ton and the brackets being 3/4 ton? Judging from the LMC catalog and my service manuals, there isn't a difference in the trailing arms.

Thanks for your help guys!

Everything should bolt right in. Both 1/2 and 3/4 tons used the optional 500# springs. I'm not sure if your frame rail would have been factory drilled to accept the mounting brackets. I don't understand what you mean by lower brackets though. My C20 is factory equipped with this set up and just has wear pads on the end of the axle control arm where the leaf comes in contact. If you need photos or anything send me a PM.
