I want to use a modern 5 speed truck trans in my 56 sub. with the original bell housing and motor. Is there one that is a boltup on the engine side? I will be making a new drive shaft anyway to fitt the Dakota rear end so the back half does not matter.
Thanks again...............................Larry | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | Borg-Warner T-5 from a S-10 or Camero. The answer to this question might steer you away from some transmissions and toward others. Also what gears will you be running in the new rearend? | | |
