Just Me again

I want to use a modern 5 speed truck trans in my 56 sub. with the original bell housing and motor. Is there one that is a boltup on the engine side? I will be making a new drive shaft anyway to fitt the Dakota rear end so the back half does not matter.

Thanks again...............................Larry

Borg-Warner T-5 from a S-10 or Camero. See the Tech. tips.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

What engine? 235? 270? 265? 316?

The answer to this question might steer you away from some transmissions and toward others. Also what gears will you be running in the new rearend?
