Chinito Quan Shop Shark C Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 166 Guatemala	The guy who owned the 49 GMC 1/2 ton I bought, sort of turned it in a 3/4 by adding more leaves. I want to take it back to the standard number of leaves. Also, I have a friend that owns a spring factory that can, either make new or repair mine, but I'm looking for some sort of spec (spring coeficient, a curve load/deformation)so he can make the repair. Thanks

Chinito Quan Shop Shark C Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 166 Guatemala	Grigg: I checked my shop manuals (both 47-54 and 55-59 and the specs on sprins are basically for the eyebolts and torque for u bolts. On parts book it shows number of leaves but otherwise no specs. My shop manuals are for GMC as my truck. Does Chevrolet shop manuals have something additional?

They made a set of springs for my truck and did an excellent job, and very reasonable price I thought, and they had all the pins, bushings, and related parts I needed.
