will late model colorado 16 in. wheels fit my 50 chevy 3100 ? When swapping to a chevy v/8 will the colorado rear end fit ? thanks ,Bob

Your width, backing plate to backing plate is 62" +-. Measure what you want to use and you will see if it will work. You can fudge a bit but look before you leap.

The wheels will not work, backspacing is too deep and will cause rubbing issues. I have measured the rear axle on a Colorado, though, and beleive the rearend might work. I don't recall the exact dimension (should have wrote it down), but I beleive it is right around the 62" plate to plate.
