The front fenders are seperated from the inner engine compartment "skirts". What I can't figure out is if there is a piece missing that gives the hood something to land against where it meets the fender ? Many years ago I has a '37 and seem to remember a lip that stood up behind the hood from the fender edge. Hope someone has one and can take a look.
Thanks, David | | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 186 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 186 | nope, nothing against the fender that I recall.. the hood latches against a tab that hangs off the lower edge of the fire wall, and then a spot on the lower grill shell I dont have any good pictures of when mine was assembled...
