The front fender does not fit, the door needs to be pushed out at the top hinge, the middle step bracket is pushed up, and the fender is back a little in the front - so the step does not attach.
Funny

What it looks like is I will have to bend the front flange on the cab where it meets the fender, shim out the door where it meets the top hinge, and bend/pull the rear fender forward. I am not sure about bending the hinge. The door fits fine in the back and I am affraid I will put that out of wack. Finally, I am not sure what to do about the middle step bracket? I think the PO must have jacked up the truck by this bracket.
Any suggestions?

Measure the mounting points on your board and compare to the brkts. It appears that your truck had been abused on the left side? Hopefully you can find a "straight" place to start and work from there. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 66 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 66 | Did the truck ever get hit hard, maybe the frame is bent,I have seen it where a full frame gets hit front/back or side and one of the rails get moved depending on the hit and it will move a whole side out of line or the frame could be bent up or down in your case front and will get the same results, if you have to do that much tweeking it sounds like you may have a bigger problem you may ned to cross measure the frame. Are all the parts oem because I have tried to put some after market parts on and fight for days and it was the parts not the truck. / just a thought | | | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 | Thanks Glen but I believe it is the parts. I was curious about the step bracket. It is creased and appears to have been used to jack the truck up.

Thanks for all the help.
