For those of you running trailer wheels, are you running trailer tires? Can you just run normal tires on those wheels? The wheel load ratings say @110 psi for example, but I know that say a normal BFGoodrich LT tire for a 16 inch wheel would not be rated for that pressure. So is that safe?

The wheel will carry it's max load at whatever the tire pressure rating is. The air will strengthen the tire, but not the wheel. Above the max rating (the 110psi) you are over stressing the bead of the rim and courting failure.
Current fleet (subject to change w/o notice) \'49 GMC 3/4-Ton , 60 Austin Healey Frog-eye Sprite (some assembly required), 2011 Dodge Avenger, 2015 Jeep Cherokee. No, they don't all run. My other ride is a (B737)no, (B767)no, A320.... Update... was Embraer E190, now Boeing B787. Knowledge is a wonderful thing, but ignorance means you don't know you can't do something.

The type of tire is mentioned here: Yokohama Tires I run them at about 40 psi but I don't haul anything in my truck.
