Moving the tank will create some changes to storage area under the rear frame. There are two things that I like about a welded S/S Tank. First there will be no cracking as with Aluminum or Poly tanks if you happen to drag bottom. The second thing you have to choose where you are and how you are going to get fuel into the tank may it be left, right through the bed or out the back. The next step which a lot of guys do not figure on is a filteration system incase the fueling station has sediment in their tanks or water in them. The filter I use in a 100 micron filter with a screen in which you can clean out by the tank. By using AN fittings it drops right out by your tank and you do not have trash in your line and fuel pump going up to your carb filter. The tank I have was made to bolt to your frame rails.
