I put a six volt alternator on my 52 3600 with a 235. Does anyone know a lot about these and can bless me with information. I bought a 60 amp. Information dealing with wiring to make to sure I have this right?

Should that be a 10 gauge wire off the alternator?

I like that diagram, very easy to follow. My shade tree effort was to put the one wire direct to the battery. works but without going thru ammeter you don't know if it's actually charging until battery goes dead.
