Welcome from a fellow Arkie. To answer your question: Hard to tell without a picture. If you can post a picture, folks here are pretty sharp about giving you a fair value. Then, after that, it's really what a person is willing to pay.

It'll be cheaper to buy a COMPLETE bed assembly than to fix yours. At least thats what I found to be true with my 37 and you will never have to worry about it again.

The '37 I have cost me $2000. It was an AZ truck and only bad spot was the bottom of the driver's door. Of course the Interior seats were pretty well gone as well as the inside cab wood.

I have a '36 Chevy pickup that I bought in pretty rough shape in 1965 and restored in the early 70's. If you are going to be keeping that '36, I've discovered some parts interchanges during the last 45 years that aren't in any book that may be helpful to you. Examples are modern tie rod ends that are a perfect fit, more modern ignition points and fuel filter that are also a perfect fit and visually undetectable 3.55 gears using all inexpensive Chevy OEM parts and a little cutting and welding on a '37 Chevy car rear end. Even orig tires, few dings and dents but i payed $3000.00 for it. I feel its a fair price. I wasnt even looking for one just happen to come across it. Not really a huge market for them but they sure are a nice peice of history | | |
