| | | | | Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,362 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,362 | Many years ago I remember having to bend an NOS hinge to get it to work correctly. I didn't do the bending, a shop did. Oh and they used the wrong technique to do it, and bent out the hinge box opening, not happy about that. The NOS door would not adjust out hardly at all. Bending and enlongating the holes are some options. This was a TF truck.

Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.
As of 10-26-2022, A 55.2 Taskforce long bed now the work begins

No matter what I did, the doors just would not fit right Came up with some old hinges to re-build and the doors fit perfect! The old hinges are worth the extra work..... far less work and stress in the long run! Stick with the old original parts if possible!!!! Monica  | | |
