Hello, I recently purchased a 1968 Chevy one ton with pto dump bed on it. The owners said it has a 10 ft. bed on it. We are unable to get measurements on it due to weather so I was wondering if anyone on here might know the dimensions of this truck. I have to drive around 5 hours to pick it up so want to make sure it will fit on my trailer. I have a 20 ft. implement trailer that is a dovetail/carhauler style. It has 7500 pound axles so I am not concerned with the weight but am a little concerned with the width. If anyone has the width and the wheelbase on these trucks I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

There were and are still two wheelbases made for one ton chassis.
One has a 60" CA (cab to axle length) for an 8'dump body and the other has an 84" CA for a 10' dump body. If by "dump bed" you only mean it has a hoist the body could be 9-12' long. That would make it unlikely to fit your trailer. My 86' 3500 GMC will go on my 18' trailer w/ 9' body but just barely.

Sorry I do not know the WB or AOL.

Thanks, for the help. Sounds like it may be a tight fit, if it fits at all. I think I will just borrow a deck-over trailer to haul it on.
Thanks again for your help!
