Hi, just got my first 66. However, I need to know the first of a million things.
1) Where is a good place for interior parts??
2)I wish to put high bucket seats in. Which fit?
3) I heard a 88 or above silverado has a lot of cross over parts is this true?

Working on body, engine is a beast. Can't wait. Thanks guys..

Just got here myself a little while ago welcome! A lot of people here willing to answer your questions. I've already gotten some things for my '66 from LMC just got the re-upholstery kit delivered today as a matter of fact.

The truck and Car shop beat other prices by at least 15%+ on many items. Do a side by Side compare.

First of all measure your orginal seat then if you are goung to use buckets I would recommend going to a wrecking yard and look around for some you like that will fit. My seat came out of a 89 silverado and the same seat is in the Suburban too.

I'm using rear buckets from a For+ van. They are the right height. Most seats from a car (not truck) are too low.
Measure the height also so you dont have to build a adapter.

And look at the seat back angle too. Most modern highback seats have a more sloped back angle. To fit them in means the bottom has to fit more towards the pedals. Cramps your leg room. And watch for that big steering wheel interference too.
