Hi there fellow boltters ,I am working on the fenders on my truck ,they have a lot of bondy on them and in some places rust has bubbled through ,just wondered if I could get away with just cleaning back those areas and rebondy or should I clean them right back to steel ,your feedback would be appreciated.

Your best bet is to take back down to bare steel and sandblast any rust where the bondo was. (Its the rust under the bondo that causes the bubble to occur).
