I'am getting ready to install a new windshield and gasket. The gasket I have picked up is made by "Precision". And part of the gasket is wider then the other part. Does anyone know how the gasket fits around the windshield? Does the wider part go around at the top of the windshield ot the bottom? thanks for any help.

there's a 'flap' that goes to the inside top so the ends come down the sides and are captured by the metal trim strip below the glass over the defrost vents .... if that's clear

Thanks Bill for the help on the seal. So the flap's ends come around the ends of the windshield and go about a inch or so around the bottom curve of the glass? thanks agian for the help

you got it - try to get it on the glass pretty even right off cuz there's no moving it once in place!
