just thinking out loud and looking for some feed back..

Where the Rear lower cab outer panel meets the rear cab outer window panel..

Filling this gap...?

Is there any flex concerns, or is a metal to metal seam sealer strong enough to sand and eventually paint, without later problems?

They came from the factory with seam sealer. Rust is the most common problem with the seam, clean it up and reseal. I've done two cabs with 3M seam sealer, no problems so far.

Correction: I used paintable latex tile calking.

are you talking about the seam that travels laterally across the entire post door jam section of the cab?
