I've been after old MR Gooche's truck for 5 years, Mostly because i new it was kindof rare, with only 36--- original miles . Iv'e got some good pictures on photobucket, I'd like to know how many - K - Trucks where built in 1964, or any years, espesially with PTO, Maybe how much this truck cost new.It took awhile to learn how to drive the v six,it likes to run wound up, it hates to lug. This old truck is a hoot to drive it;s a real YANK-TANK.would apreciate any feed back Thanks Michael D

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

Well it sat in the garage lomg enough, I finally took the seat out to get reupholstered. I was tired of sitting in a big rat hole when i drove it. When i got the seat back , i got motavated to put it back in, so iguted the rest of the dash and everything except the gas tank out . I covered the floor with por-15 floor was solid. I used duplicolor gun metal gray GM paint, in ratle cans, how many i don;t no. Im real pleased how it turned out, it has dynamat all across the floor clear up the firewall, and in both doors ialso carped it myself my budy painted the guage cluster with spray gun and clear coated it. its been major work and lots of hours also about 1300 dollars in brothers parts, new stereo etc you can do it yourself its really rewarding , if you have any questions send me some mail thanks for all the tech tips and advise bolters are a fine group of people top of my list more pictures to follow
