If you look under the truck's cab you will see where there is a BIG square nut that adjust the ride. BEFORE YOU TRY TO MOVE THEM, First soak the hell out of them with Kroll Oil or PB Blaster or WD-40. God only know when they were last moved/adjusted. IF you break the bolt or nut, you'll have to dig through junk yards or a scrapped truck to find a correct replacement.
Measure the height of the highest point of the front wheel well fender rim to give you a referance point.
After you feel that the nut has soaked enough, take a 6 point socket (You don't want to strip these) and slowly losen or tighen the nut on the bolt. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 9 | Thanks for reply V-6 Fix Modelman. The spec is 4 1/2".

Im trying to picture in my mined the exact point your describing.Ive even got my factory assembly manual in my hand.Ok i know ware the lower supension bumper bracket is on the lower A arm.But im not sure about the spot to measure from on the crossmember.do you mean the upper A arm?Thanks Scott | | |
