For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 53 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 53 | I have a 1950 Chevy 3100 with a 216 motor. I am trying to get it back together and I have had it apart for 20 years. I took the flywheel off and at the time I was looking to replace the locking tab plates under the flywheel bolts. Not only did I not find replacements - I lost one of the ones I had. Any ideas where I might locate these little gremlins? Thanks, Jerry

You could also cross-drill the bolt heads and use aircraft type safety wire to secure the bolts. I'd suggest using the LocTite, along with the correct torque.
