And you can't make the shift linkage from the old transmission work with the new transmission? The shifter arms on the new transmission are probably totally different in shape and design from the old transmission, you may have to make extensive modifications to the linkage to make it work. The clutch linkage may also need modification in order for it to make the clutch work properly.

You will likely recieve more help if you use punctuation and form sentences. Spell check would not hurt either.

We grew up making complete sentences, and using commas, periods, and question marks! Jerry

If you can't take the time to at least try to ask an intelligible question I won't take the time to try to decipher your text speak. Spelling mistakes I can overlook but not run-together sentences with no attempt at punctuation. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 7 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 7 | sorry for my spelling got everything runing good now i have a problem now when i hit the brake padle it hit the tranny linkage | | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 | ???
Is there a question here?
We need a little bit more of a description of the problem if we are to offer you any help. If English isn't your first language we can be a little patient. Just let us know.
Perhaps the shifter arms are on the transmission backwards? | | |
