is a 2-3 inch drop with some blocks gonna hurt the torque tube? thinking about the dropped front axle with some blocks in the rear. any info is greatly appricaited!

Back when they were used as trucks, it was nothing unusual for the rear to squat by 6" from the load. It didn't hurt them then and it shouldn't hurt it now.

You'll be fine. I helped a guy lower a '50 Chevy 2 door with 3' blocks, then later hydraulics, didn't have a problem at al with the torque tube, even running from full drop to full lift.

anyone have a pic of and advance design with 3 inch lowering blocks in the rear...i think i want to do it too.

Longbox, that is quite a drop at 3 feet. grin Silverrado, my truck gallery picture is 2" dropped with a flipped axle.
