I'll need to remove the choke and throttle knobs to get the dash out, but they appear brittle and potentially easily broken. How do the knobs come off? If the '41s are like my '38 the knobs are molded to a shaft that then has a wire crimped into the end. The wire & shaft are then inserted into the cable. The whole cable is easy to remove, just unscrew the nut on the back side of the dash.
