I tried searching for instructions on how to mount a remote oil filter in my car and how to connect it to my engine. But i have had no luck.
I have a 216 in my chevy styleline
my two questions are
1. is there a specific place to mount the filter or can i mount it wherever i want.
2. where do i hook up the lines for it.

The intake hose would mount to a "T" at the pressure sending unit connection. The return hose would mount to the oil distributor valve. I'm sure someone will post a link to a pic. I put a modern spin on filter on my 38.

This is the "bypass" filter setup and part of the oil flow is diverted through the filter and then into the pan. | | |

I tried looking to see if i can mount it like that to my engine unfortunatley i cannot. the heat riser in my ar has the little hose that goes to the wipers so i cannot mount it on that side and there does not seem to be another suitable place for it
