I hear some coil springs can be quite dangerous to remove without the proper tools. | | |

the easyist I found was to jack it up, put on jack stands and use a bottle jack under the A arm.
when you get it loose, just let the bottle jack down slowly. I put them on that way too. | | |

They are long & just keep growing. The truck springs are short & stout. They all need to be careful around. If you let the a arm down slowly you can lift it right out.
