I have a couple of trucks in mind;one is my '57 GMC half ton-it'd have to be a stick,so I need to find out what flywheel will work. Bell housing's no problem,I have a Pontiac one I can use. The major concerns are exhaust clearance,motor mounts,and clearance for the oil filter.
The other candidate is Max,my '74 one ton;if I put it in that truck,I'll probably have most of the same concerns,but I expect to see a lot more room for everything,but then oil pan clearance may be an issue.
Anybody done any swaps with the big Buick motors?
