I have a 57 3100 with a rebuilt 235 and Rochester carb. My manual says that idle should be 475rpm. I have is set at about 650 and it seems about right. 475 is really too low. I need your opinions. What do you set your idle speed at? | | |

I was always taught 500 RPM was the target idle speed.
