What needs to be done to remove a torque tube rear end from the transmission end?

The picture above is color coded, but you can prolly figure it out with looking at the pic.

remove the 4 red bolts

slide the blue collar back

slide the green tube back

then you will se a U-joint that you undo like any other ans your done!

Just a note of caution. When you loosen the U joint. make sure that the torque tube is restrained somehow. I always use a chain to catch it. I took one loose one time that the rear end had some pressure on it, and it came down and just missed my head. I know my head is hard, but there is no sense testing it.
Just something to think about.
