Forget trying to stuff your christmas tree in the the trunk of yer Honda Accord -- Tinkerbolt (who holds the dubious honor of being the Stovebolter who lives closest to Stovebolt HQ) stopped by today to get his Christmas Tree. He definitely turned heads on the farm with his classy Big Bolt ride home for his tree...

Here's Tinkerbolt and Hambone loading the tree truck

Here's TB's '66 C-60 Rollback loaded up and ready to roll.

Christmas season is underway! And even Mike Roache stopping by didn't *completely* disrupt operations...

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving.

John

Hmmm, I think that tree looks a little small for the truck. Shoulda gotten a bigger one to mess with the neighbors as he drove by, then cut to fit. grin

Scott -- I'm sure he could. But at 600 kts, I'm not sure it would have any needles on it by the time it got there wink

Freq -- That's about as big as they get on our farm smile I need to send them out your way for taller Spruces!

That's about right, 51 ashton! If I had a good spotter/beer holder, I could probably make a few shots count better ... smile During tree sales today, I noticed where a bunch of the Concolor Firs I transplanted last year got browsed recently. darn forest rats!

Word is given. I don't really care how Bambi does, or when. All I really care about at this point is that many of them die -- As many as you have ammo for. I don't care if you offer thanks to the Spirits, drink their blood, use their pelts for clothing, make stew out of their meat or just leave them for the buzzards. Just kill them. To me, the only difference between them and mosquitoes is that they're bigger and do more damage.

Do you have any smaller trees? The US Post Office says that "If it fits, it ships" for one low rate. I'll have to check out their box sizes. grin

Great picture, that's one very nice '66. The tree ain't so bad either.

Putting our tree up is a big event here, our friend from Va. was over visiting last year and she did it.
Coincidentally she's back this year and Mrs Jock and I joked how fancy are we? Having 'our' tree decorator fly over to decorate it!
Alas, we decided not to put our tree up this year thanks to the demolition expert!

I tried to find the Gallery Submission of the '66 Chevy C60, but I was unable to find it. Is there a link to it? I would like to learn more about it and the rollback modification. Thanks and Happy Holidays.
