I have it back in and it will only run with the choke closed. (at 1500 rpm or more) It has a Zenith which ran great before. I have the adjustable main jet out one turn and the idle jet out 1½ turn. If I crack the choke open even a hair it dies.
The only differences from before are a rebuilt distributor and Fenton exhaust with no pipes yet. I don't see how this would affect it. The engine is getting too much air. You might have left a fitting off on the intake or broken the seal on a gasket.
