My question is will a rear end out of a 78 camaro fit? I always read "early 70's" for the rears that fit this truck. I know the width is the issue (most likely) so what is the correct width? Measured from drum to drum in inches I would inmagine. Just wondering.

| | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 445 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 445 | I would say yes too the rearend, along with the Camaro front clip,Now you have your motor mounts and power steering.Disk breaks power.You use your stock tranny crossmenber.Just have to notch out the crossmenber for the 350 tranny.The drive shaft is last thing.good luck things will fall together

The gear ratio may not suit you. If so then check out Ebay and compare prices with NAPA or your FLAPS for a new set. NAPA can sometimes beat Ebay's price as you won't be paying shipping charges.
