The top panels on both sides are gone and there is no arch support over the top to prevent top fender flex (in/out). The radiator itself is the only tie... I need to fab some brace for the top and figure some way to tie the bottom corners somehow to the frame. The chevy assembly manual shows a frame bracket assbly. and some cross braces,but does the gmc look different? any help would be cool....

I wouldn't mind seeing the details myself as, although I've never paid any attention to the core support differences, I've bolted 57 GMC fenders onto a 57 Chevy core support .... which I'd think would mean they're "somewhat alike"

The top support bar and side wings are gone... Was this radiator support a "carry-over' from 54-55.1 and are they available ? With the wings gone the air from the top grill spills over into the eng. compartment and not through the rediator....With the top brace gone, the tin of the radiator takes any flex in/out from the top of both fenders...i need to brace it temp...
Thanks for the help..I will fab a temp. one till I can find a support...
