Hello, been here for awhile but haven't posted much. I've been looking for a sun visor for my 52 3100. Will a visor from a car fit the truck or is it a whole other animal? Also what is a reasonable price for one? What kind of bracketry goes with it? Thanks,

Joe

Inside or outside. if it's outside, then a car one is not correct for your truck. There's apparently a science to the whole matter of outside sun visors. Mothertrucker could probably give you a crash course.
Sorry to say, I don't remember much about them, cuz I think they are as ugly as sin! JMHO.

Thanks for the info. I could pick one up for a 100 bucks but it from a car.

Thanks
Joe

Buy it if even for the investment, the price is right if it's all there and not badly rusted.
The Chevy car visor can be adapted to fit the AD and it actually looks a little bit better because it is a little smaller. One of the guys has a picture of his AD with the car visor but I'll be dangged if I can find it now.
Of course this only applies if it a Fulton.

Thanks Denny, The guy who has it also has a Fulton but said it's not for sale. I don't really want to spen a hundred to take a chance that it will fit. Hopefully here in the next couple of months I will be getting the 52 out of storage and to my house where I can finally start working on her again.
