I'm looking at less money for a crate 350 than a rebuild of my six, at least in my area. The added hp would be helpful for yanking my boat out of the water at the launch ramp.

Pretty straightforward as the V-8 was an option that year. Get a 55-72 v-8 bellhousing,flywheel, & clutch. You can get the factory front engine mount kit at the specialty suppliers but if you want to change to a later model pulley system for power strg. or a/c you can get a universal crossmember & mount it with the side mounts. Get a v-8 throttle kit from a specialty supplier or adapt a latter model or Locar. I like the Goodwrench crate engine also. Reply if you have anymore questions.
