For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 11 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 11 | I saw an article in an antique car publication about a fella that had a leaking banjo bolt on an old MG top oiler line that he could not get stopped. He found a bonded pressure sealing washer through McMaster-Carr Supply Co. that did the job. This was a steel washer with a rubber or neoprene backing bonded to the washer. When you put it under a bolt and tighten it down the rubber expands and seals the leak. Their on line catalogue is www.macmaster.com. Looks like they have all types of bolts, fasteners and washers that could be handy to us stovebolters. Tex the Old Stovebolter

Expect top quality and high price. smallparts.com is another good option for similar supplies. They've got just about anything, and you can usually have it sitting on your doorstep in only a day or two. | | |
