Just a quick question. Has anyone had any experience with using a 6 lug to 5 lug wheel adapter? I know there are other ways of changing out the lug set up on my 64', but have been thinking of trying an adapter. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just my opinion,I would and have stayed away from wheel spacers.Definitly not a proper fix to the solution.When I went fro six to five lug wheels on the rear of my 55 I pulled the axles andtook them to Moser engineering in Indiana,they plugged and redrilled the hubs for five lug wheels. A little work and time involved but thety are done right.The front ones were done with an M2 kit from TCI,and they also work out good.

I'm not shy about doing as you suggested, just thought I could get away with being lazy, but in the long run it would most likely not to be the best idea. I have access to a good shop locally that can do as you said, so it looks like I'll be pulling the axle before long. Just as easy to do it right the first time as it is to have to work it over when things go wrong later.
