On this special national holiday let us all be thankful for the many, many blessings each of us enjoys daily just lucky enough to be born Americans. Everyday we are assaulted with more bad news from the Middle East, of famine, floods, huricanes, death and destuction all around us. Today is a gift and there is no gaurantee it will be repeated for any of us. The freedoms of choice, democracy, lifestyle and religion are those being fought for all over the globe so let not a single on of us take any of those freedoms for granted. Someone fought and many perished to give them to us. May we always be mindful of the blessings the Almighty has bestoyed us with, our duty to preserve them and remember all not so fortunate on this very special day in our country.
