I would like to graft a 1984 Chevy 3/4tn front suspension into my '57 Chevy 3/4tn. Can anyone help with info?

It's been done. I've seen a link here to photos. The owner split the cross member in the middle, took out about 2 inches and welded the two halves together to fit the AD frame. Obviously much measuring and planning involved, as well as shortening the tie rod.
Should be a nice IFS ride when you are done.

Current fleet (subject to change w/o notice)
\'49 GMC 3/4-Ton , 60 Austin Healey Frog-eye Sprite (some assembly required), 2011 Dodge Avenger, 2015 Jeep Cherokee. No, they don't all run.
My other ride is a (B737)no, (B767)no, A320.... Update... was Embraer E190, now Boeing B787.

I did a similiar frame swap. Used a 1980 halfton front frame onto a 58 gmc 3/4 ton. Grafted the 80 frame to the 58 frame under the firewall. The frame width and dimensions where the same. Measure them both and look at swapping the complete frames.
It's an option to look at.

I'm planning a similar swap with an early-80's 3/4 ton crossmember and IFS system into my 59 Burb. I'll have to adapt a steering box to the 59 frame ahead of the crossmember and narrow things a little if i do it that way, so doing a a frame clip might be a better choice. I think the track width is a little too much unless a slice is taken out of the crossmember. That will mess up motor mount spacing, unless the center of the X-member is left "as is" and a small slice is removed from both sides outboard of the mounts. "Measure twice- - -cut once" is the operative method here!

Thanks, Guys, for the help. If it's been done I'll give it a try. Plan to put bags on the front and bags on the rear similar to the Peterbilt Airleaf system using the front half of the spring and a bag at the back.

Nutz, I'd like to see that bag setup when you get it done.
